A new way of thinking

The progress made in knowledge and technology contributes towards economic development, but can also help to solve the risks and threats on the sustainability of our social, environmental and economic relations.

Pursuing this aim transversely, arada intends to take into account the impacts that all aspects of its activities have on its customers, employees, local communities, the environment and on the society in general. This involves, apart from the mandatory fulfilment of national and international laws in the social, labour, environmental and human right scope, voluntary actions that the company carries out to improve the life qualities of its employees, the communities in which it operators and the society all in all.

For this reason, arada has taken this path for a long time, implementing appropriate management systems, drawing up a CSR sustainability report (corporate social responsibility in the framework of GRI -Global Reporting Initiative- standards) and carrying out an Efficient Equality Plan for Men and Women in the company’s scope.

The transparency regarding the sustainability of our organisation has a priority interest, and this corporative policy, and the agreements thereby exposed, intend to be another sample of the latter.

The culture of quality and continuous improvement constitute the framework in which we should develop all our efforts for life-long progress. arada, aware of its commitment towards its customers, considers as a strategic priority in its activity the integration of standard quality criteria in its technical assistance activity, which is why it carries out its activities under a Quality Management System based on the requirements of the UNE-EN ISO 9001standard.
The Management is consistent with the importance that the environment represents for society; therefore it considers guaranteeing harmony between our activities and our surroundings a priority, fulfilling the environmental regulations in force and the requirements and recommendations that are considered necessary to do so. arada, faced with the environmental challenged posed by modern society, and consistent with the regulatory framework and the principle of sustainable development, considers as a strategic priority in its activity the integration of standard quality criteria in its technical assistance activity, that is why it carries out its activities under a Quality Management System based on the requirements of the UNE-EN ISO 14001standard and Regulations 761/2001 and 196/2006 (EMAS).

arada is committed to safeguarding the safety and health of its employees, suppliers and customers, as well as disseminating the culture of labour safety in the activities that it carries out. For this reason, each member of the organisation gets involved in the respect towards the labour safety and health regulations, and we integrate the latter as a fundamental part of all the labour processes in which we take part.

The protection of the employee against occupational risks requires a clear and determined performance of each one of us, going beyond the mere legal fulfilment. People’s safety must be a moral must that, from a corporate point of view, should lead us to consolidate a well-managed organisation and, in such sense, we shall demand our contractors the same level of commitment that we demand ourselves, for that reason we carry out our tasks under an OHSAS 18001 (Occupational Health and Safety Advisory Services) management system, regulated and adapted to our company.

The Management of arada assumes the content and spirit of these principles agreeing to its periodical review, and additional review in those cases in which there are changes in the company’s organisation, or in the case of reviews of the applicable laws, and all the latter, in view of continuous improvement.
