Project Description

This project defines all the operations, materials and systems necessary for the construction of the Apandis Center for the care of people with intellectual disabilities, located in Lorca (Murcia).
It comprises a low-rise building complex with minimal visual impact, all on a single floor. This design facilitates accessibility to all services, eliminates architectural barriers, and promotes independent movement for users. The dimensions of interior circulation spaces, pathways, passageways, etc., will take into account the specific mobility needs of people with sensory and/or ambulatory disabilities. The distinct areas include the reception area, the center's administration offices, the day center, the occupational center, the early intervention center, a rest area, and the kitchen and dining room.
The creation of pleasant and sunny outdoor spaces is enhanced, as well as the special arrangement of covered areas protected from inclement weather.

Finally, the works include the air conditioning and air renewal project, medium and low voltage electrical installation and fire protection installation.
