Project Description

Within the grounds of Lorca Castle lies the Lorca Workshop of Time tourism project. The so-called Fortress of the Sun encompasses many important elements of the complex, such as towers, walls, cisterns, etc., which are fundamental to the city's historical and cultural heritage.
The current state of the Fortress of the Sun is the result of the accumulation of elements, expansions, modifications, and renovations carried out throughout the fortification's history. Arada Ingeniería has participated in the following:
– Project for the consolidation and waterproofing of the large and small cisterns of the walled enclosure of Lorca Castle.
– Basic and Execution Project for the conditioning of roads and other improvements in the Fortaleza del Sol of Lorca.
– Basic and Execution Project for Restoration, Cleaning and Consolidation Works within the walled enclosure of the Fortaleza del Sol in Lorca.
– Valued memory of the Alfonsina Tower.
– Basic and Execution Project for Restoration, cleaning and consolidation works of the facade of the Stables of the Fortaleza del Sol.
